Our Story
Behind the Scenes
Cristi CARES started with our Founder, Cristina Lewis that had a wonderful vision and plan to want to help others. She is a former educator, behavioral therapist for youth and teens, and a mother. She impacts anyone she comes into contact with and has worked with a lot of families throughout the years in her many fields. Through her own struggles of being a single mother, Cristina called on the help of others and organizations as well and through this, grew a fondness to want to "pay it forward" for others. After much dedication and support, she launched her own donation site of groceries, toiletries, shoes, and clothing to give to those in low income families. After a year of growth in donations, she created her own nonprofit organization and the name Cristi CARES was birthed!
